Andy has been a serial clean energy entrepreneur since the late 1990s. Prior to forming Jupiter he was president of Pioneer Green Energy LLC, a company he founded in 2010 with six others and led through 2015. Over 2001-2009 Andy led renewable energy project development first as President of Renewable Generation Inc., then Senior Vice President at Airtricity and finally as Chief Development Officer at E.On Climate & Renewables (now RWE).
Prior to 2001, Bowman helped develop some of the first privately financed wind farms in the US. Over his career Andy has had executive responsibility for nearly 3,600 megawatts of wind and solar projects across the US.
Jesse Campbell has spent over 15 years in the renewable energy sector. Prior to joining Jupiter Power as Chief Financial Officer, Jesse was Executive Vice President and Corporate Controller at Invenergy, Chief Financial Officer at Suzlon Wind Energy, and held various roles in finance, strategic planning, and business development at E.ON Climate & Renewables (now RWE). Jesse is a Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
Audrey has worked in cleantech energy markets across Europe and North America for almost 20 years. Having spent the last decade working in the energy storage sector, she has launched energy storage solutions for both behind-the-meter and utility-scale systems and led the implementation of several battery storage projects.
Prior to Jupiter Power, Audrey was Vice President of Product Management at storage systems integrator Younicos and served as VP of Commercial Operations at battery manufacturer Xtreme Power.
Michael has worked in the battery industry for over 10 years in R&D, manufacturing, utility-scale project development, construction, operation, and wholesale market participation. Recently, he has led the development, engineering and contracting for over 450 MWh of energy storage projects in North America.
Prior to Jupiter, Michael was the Technical Team Lead for energy storage at E.On Climate and Renewables and served as storage engineer at Invenergy.
Jack has led the origination and execution of over 8,500 MW of new wind, solar and energy storage projects for leading utility, financial and C&I customers.
Prior to his current role, Jack was SVP of Origination at Invenergy LLC, where he had overall revenue responsibility for the company’s development portfolio. Previously, Jack started Invenergy’s Corporate Development team and was the youngest member promoted to the Company’s Management Committee.
Joe has over 35 years of construction management experience in the industrial and renewable power generation fields. He began his career in renewables 12 years ago with a wind farm developer and then transitioned back into the EPC world building wind, solar, substation, transmission and energy storage projects. Joe has over 7 years of BESS EPC construction experience from an internationally based EPC contractor building projects in the United States (IL, TX, CA, OH, VA, CO, NYC) as well as Canada and Germany. Joe is a licensed General Contractor in several states and started with Jupiter Power in August of 2021.
Margaret Anderson joined Jupiter Power’s Market Operations team in 2024, focusing on Trading Analytics. Prior to Jupiter Power, Margaret spent three years working in Finance at a hospitality software company. Margaret holds a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Hendrix College.
Trevor has worked in the energy industry for almost 10 years with experience in engineering, wholesale market optimization, trading, and renewable development. Prior to joining Jupiter, Trevor worked for Enel North America as Team Lead - Power Market Modeling. At Enel he oversaw and ran production cost modeling for investment decisions, as well as advising strategies for the front office and operations of Enel's renewable portfolio. At his first position out of college he worked for ACES Power Marketing creating DA/RT optimization sheets and managed congestion portfolios for several cooperatives by trading in various congestion markets. He also has experience running battery storage dispatch models to provide energy and capacity revenue forecasts.
Trevor received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, Indianapolis and obtained his MBA from Franklin Pierce University, focused on Energy and Sustainability.
James graduated from Cornell University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, and he is working towards a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Texas in Austin. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, James worked for ExxonMobil as an Application Engineer for nearly 5 years where he developed novel optimization strategies and process monitoring software for midstream operations. His experience spans a range of disciplines including data science, data engineering, and process engineering.
Shakar graduated from University of Utah in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and he is currently working on a Master of Science in Data Science from University of Texas in Austin. He moved to the United States as a refugee from in 2014 without speaking much English.
Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Shakar held multiple positions in Project Development, Project Execution, Process Safety Engineering and Data Architecture between ExxonMobil and Rio Tinto for 4 years. He helped execute multiple 250 million dollar projects and built skills in project team management, collaboration with cross-functional units and providing cost-efficient solutions to complex problems.
Jenny joined Jupiter Power after completing her MBA and MS in Energy and Earth Resources at the University of Texas at Austin. During graduate school she supported solar and wind project development, finance, and origination at 7X Energy and Ørsted. She has worked on a variety of analytic and market evolution projects at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Wood Mackenzie, and LCRA.
Jenny worked for five years in healthcare analytics and project management at HCA.
Clay has worked in the power industry for 6+ years with experience in trading and dispatching in ERCOT, WECC, and CAISO. Prior to joining Jupiter, he worked at Uniper for 2 years on their real time desk which focused on marketing generation and managing load contracts in the WECC. Additionally, he worked for Twin Eagle on their ERCOT real time desk for 4 years marketing and trading gas, coal, wind, solar, and battery assets for large portfolios.
Clay holds a BBA in Finance and Masters in Financial Management from Texas A&M University.
Jordan graduated University of North Florida with a degree in psychology in 2016. He has worked in the investment industry for 4 years and started working as a real time trader in 2020 in the SERC markets doing bilateral trading. He has extensive experience working with PJM, MISO, and SPP.
Maggie joined Jupiter’s Communications & Public Affairs team in 2024, focusing on corporate communications and assisting in local outreach. Prior to Jupiter, Maggie spent several years as a Capitol correspondent in Texas, which included covering the chaos during Winter Storm Uri in February 2021 and the effects on policy and public perception in the years following. She left news to work at an Austin-based PR and public affairs firm throughout the 88th Regular Legislative Session and subsequent special sessions.
Marcus Hale is a seasoned power trader responsible for the trading and optimization of Jupiter’s portfolio of ERCOT assets. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Marcus traded ERCOT and RECs at Direct Energy, managing a portfolio of renewable assets. Marcus also spent time at AEP as a Mid Marketer and flow trader in PJM, MISO, SPP and ERCOT.
Grayson has almost 10 years of experience working in the power industry in several different trading roles. Prior to joining Jupiter, he worked at BP and Calpine trading and optimizing assets and managing load contracts across the nation. He has experience in almost every RTO/ISO in North America and has managed a variety of assets supplied by renewable resources as well as traditional fossil fuels. He holds an MBA from Rice University and a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University.
John has 20+ years of experience working in the power industry in several different trading roles. Prior to joining Jupiter, he worked at NRG & PSE&G optimizing assets, trading physical and financial power and managing load obligations. He has experience ERCOT, PJM, MISO, SPP & NYISO and has managed a variety of assets supplied by renewable resources as well as traditional fossil fuels. In his role as the Director of Real-Time Operations, John oversees the Jupiter Power real-time desk’s daily scheduling & dispatch operations.
John joined Jupiter Power as an intern during his last year at Texas A&M University. After graduating in December of 2020 with a BS in Computer Engineering, he converted to a full-time position at Jupiter developing data analytics software. New to the energy industry, John previously worked for the avionics team at SpaceX, writing flight firmware for the Dragon 2 space capsule and Falcon 9 rocket.
Caitlin has almost ten years of experience in regulatory policy of electricity markets. Caitlin has worked to successfully advance policies to enhance electricity markets. Caitlin also has experience advising on commercial and financial impacts of energy market design and policies. She has experience in government and regulatory affairs, as well in public affairs campaigns and managing external and media communications.
Previously, Caitlin advised clients on the ERCOT markets with AB Power Advisors. She has also managed government and regulatory affairs and has been responsible for creating and implementing policy positions for a number of wind energy, solar energy and demand response interests, including with Invenergy. Prior to that, Caitlin was the first in-house attorney for Potomac Economics, ERCOT’s Independent Market Monitor.
Carlos joined the Commercial Analytics team in 2023. Prior to joining Jupiter, Carlos completed a rotational program in Calpine Corporation, working in many roles and ultimately as a Structuring specialist, focusing on derivatives pricing and commercial analytics. Carlos holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BBS in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Católica del Perú.
Laura has more than 15 years of experience in energy price forecasting, trading, and development in the Midwest ISO, PJM, and ERCOT markets. In her role as the VP of Trading, Laura oversees Jupiter Power's daily scheduling & dispatch operation of their operating portfolio and evaluates changes in market operations that arise from changes to market rules or other regulatory decisions. She often works with Jupiter Power's development and financing teams to support the development pipelines.
Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematical Sciences from Texas A&M University.
Yanyan is a technology leader with extensive leadership and hands-on experience in big data, digital technologies, process automation, and product management. She has held senior leadership roles at General Electric, Halliburton, and Wood Mackenzie. As the head of the Data Science & Applications team in Jupiter Power, Yanyan drives innovation and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and profitability through data intelligence, spatial intelligence, and digital technologies.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Emily spent 4 years at Jones Energy LLC where she was the lead Landman handling the company's operated and non-operated asset development in Texas and Oklahoma.
Stacey graduated from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 2015 with a BA in Environmental Studies and Sustainable Community Development. After graduating, she worked in civic tech and municipal land use planning/zoning. Prior to joining Jupiter, she worked for the City of New Haven, Connecticut for 3 years, where she staffed the City Plan Commission and oversaw the application review process for large residential, commercial, and industrial developments.
Gia brings a wide range of experience to Jupiter Power, having worked across disciplines including land entitlement, spatial analysis, and public affairs. Prior to joining Jupiter, Gia worked in sustainability communications at Salesforce and land development at Better Place Forests. Gia graduated from The University of Iowa in 2019 with a Master of Science in Environmental Planning and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science.
Hans is an energy professional with two decades of experience at the nexus of energy policy and project development management. Hans formulates strategies for siting, environmental reviews, land acquisition, grid interconnection, RTO processes, public outreach, regulatory proceedings, labor relations, and legislative matters.
Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Hans consulted for leading transmission, renewable energy, and policy development firms, and was Vice President of Development at Clean Line Energy, where he led transmission project teams.
Nat has worked in renewable energy development for over 9 years, including 4 years at Jupiter Power with a focus on project development of standalone energy storage facilities in both urban and rural areas. Prior to joining Jupiter, Nat spent 3 years at Invenergy where he focused on project development for utility-scale wind and solar across the western United States, contributing during his time to over 1,000MW of completed wind projects. Prior to Invenergy, Nat worked at SunEdison in sales, development, and finance for on-site Commercial and Industrial solar and storage solutions for major corporations.
Gage joined Jupiter after working as a structural design engineer at Aurora Flight Sciences, a subsidiary of Boeing focusing on experimental aircraft in sustainable aviation and defense. Gage holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, where he played on the soccer team.
Andrew has worked in renewable development and generator interconnection for over 10 years with direct working experience for different IPPs in wind, solar and storage. Andrew has managed the interconnection process for more than 1GW of renewable projects across all major US energy markets. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Andrew was the VP of Grid Integration for Pine Gate Renewables, overseeing the generator interconnection and injection capacity analysis for Greenfield and M&A development pipelines.
Gian Paul has over 6 years of utility-scale energy storage experience, leading the development, origination, engineering, and procurement of energy storage projects in the US, Latin America and Japan both from a developer and utility point of view.
Prior to Jupiter, Gian Paul was the Energy Storage Manager and Renewable Originator at Acciona Energy, leading a development portfolio of 150 MW of energy storage projects and the contract execution of solar projects. He also served as a Project Engineer at Invenergy and held various technical roles at PG&E.
Ciara Kelleher has her bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering from University of Illinois, graduated in 2021. Prior to Jupiter, Ciara worked in the utility engineering space. She worked as a design engineer consultant for one of the largest telecommunication and wireless carriers in the U.S, designing power and fiber conduit installation throughout the city of Chicago. She also has experience as a design engineering consultant for natural gas main pipelines and service lines in Austin, Texas.
Jenny has worked in transmission planning/generator interconnection for over 15 years with direct working experience with different ISOs, consulting firms and IPPs. Jenny has managed the interconnection process for 3GW renewable projects across North America. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Jenny was Sr Transmission Manager with Innogy Renewable US, overseeing the generator interconnection process for the entire development pipeline and assisting engineering for projects in construction.
Prior to Innogy, Jenny was Sr Transmission Manager at Invenergy leading the transmission/generator interconnection projects across North America and Europe.
Sam has over a decade of experience successfully developing clean energy infrastructure across the US. Before joining Jupiter Power, Sam founded True Course Energy, a storage consulting and development company. He previously held various roles as lead developer or engineer on over $1 billion of now-operational solar, wind, and energy storage projects at Invenergy, SunEdison, and Lodestar Energy. He holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BS/MS in civil and mechanical engineering from Northwestern University.
Amal has worked in the power systems industry for over 10 years and has a broad range of experience ranging from Substation SCADA, protection and controls, performing grid level planning studies from her time at NYISO, and was involved in development and commissioning of Solar, storage and wind power plants, before focusing on the interconnection and transmission process for renewable projects across various ISOs in the country. Amal really enjoys working with developers and utility/ISO counterparts to help perform siting analysis, support M&A diligence, and shepherd projects through various queue processes. When not being a Transmission manager at Jupiter, she spends her time growing organic vegetables in her Houston home or creating paintings largely influenced by her upbringing in rural India.
Having completed his bachelor’s degree at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, in Economics, Environment, and Finance, Ford joins Jupiter with a passion to energize the decarbonization effort through enhanced grid efficiency and renewables integration. Ford’s studies were focused on the formulation of more efficient economic policy, analysis in venture capital and entrepreneurial finance, and the science of evolving Earth systems through time. Ford has had the pleasure of working with the Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems in Austin, TX to advance creative design solutions and with the City of Montreal to develop low and zero-emission zones.
Kurt has over 4 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, primarily focused on solar development in the eastern United States. Prior to joining Jupiter, Kurt worked for Heelstone Renewable Energy as a developer of utility-scale solar. Before Heelstone, he worked with the Business Development team at SolAmerica Energy on community, commercial and industrial solar projects. Kurt earned his BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a cohort member in the 2022-2023 Financing and Deploying Clean Energy certificate program through the Yale Center for Business and the Environment.
Josh Powell joined Jupiter Power as a Development Analyst following his graduation from Florida State University with a degree in International Affairs and Political Science. During his time at Florida State, Josh held several leadership roles, including Vice President of Development for the Debate Team and Vice-Chair of the Student Life Committee in the University's Student Senate, where he oversaw regulation and compliance for registered student organizations. Additionally, Josh brings valuable project management and stakeholder engagement experience from his internship as a Field Operations Intern at AARP.
Will joined Jupiter after completing his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis in Economics, Environmental Analysis, and Political Science. He focused his academics on renewable energy, energy finance, and geographic information systems (GIS). Will has worked in many environmental disciplines, including biodiversity, agriculture, ecology, and renewables. He capped off his education with a two-month-long energy transmission research project in Iceland and as a researcher at Washington University’s Tyson Research Center.
Spencer joined Jupiter Power after two years of Power Trading experience with Ørsted where he assisted in daily hedging and optimization of a 4,000 megawatt portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage assets. Spencer was also involved in Ørsted’s Market Design & Government Affairs efforts and has operated in ERCOT, SPP, and MISO. Prior to this, Spencer received his MS in Energy & Sustainability from the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University and has Finance and History degrees from Southern Methodist University.
Dan Watson is a Director in the Development team at Jupiter Power. Dan has worked in the renewable energy field for over 7 years, with a focus on project origination and development. Prior to joining Jupiter, Dan spent 4 years with Lodestar Energy where he managed a team focused on developing community solar projects across the Northeast United States. Dan also worked at Shift Energy as a lead developer of utility-scale solar projects in Japan. Dan holds a BS in International Economics from Georgetown University.
Sam Williams has nearly 15 years of experience in clean energy advocacy. In her current role, she leads Jupiter’s state policy agenda in emerging markets, advancing policies to support the development of grid-scale standalone battery energy storage.
Prior to her current role, she served for 10 years as Midwest Director of the Natural Resources Defense Council's Climate & Clean Energy Program, where she led the organization’s advocacy to accelerate the clean energy transition. Earlier in her career, Sam managed policy at the Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance, and prior to that was a litigator in California focused on citizen enforcement of the Clean Water Act. Sam is a licensed attorney in Illinois and California, and holds a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Mount Holyoke College and a J.D. from Vermont Law School. She is based in Chicago.
Austin graduated from Texas Tech in 2017 with a BBA in Energy Commerce and later in 2021 with a Master of Science in Data Science. After graduating college in 2017, Austin started his career with NuStar Energy working with real estate and business development to execute pipeline projects across the State of Texas. After NuStar, Austin became a Surface Landman with Parsley Energy working on various assets in the Permian Basin.
Sarah Falcon has been in power generation for the past 23 years, she started in construction and then moved into operations. Prior to joining Jupiter, Sarah was a Senior Business Tech for Next Era Energy, managed inventory for 24 sites that include wind, solar, and battery storage. Additionally, she also helped forecast and maintain budgets, run reports for month and year end analysis.
In nearly 25 years in the power generation industry, Mike has worked on a variety of technologies and in a variety of roles, including as a thermal performance engineer modeling and testing gas turbines and combined cycle plants and providing engineering support for wind farm development, construction and operation. For Jupiter he’ll be helping build energy storage projects, in a project management and engineering role.
Prior to Jupiter, Mike was a stay at home dad and sometimes consultant, but before that he was head of engineering at Invenergy from 2004-2014.
Jacob Hardy has over 3 years’ experience in Substation Automation design and commissioning for an EPC firm Dashiell. At Jupiter Power, Jacob is an Operations Engineer working with SCADA, P&C, and upkeep of Site Operations.
David has over 30 years in field Operations and Maintenance and for the past 15 years has worked in the power generation and delivery industry. This include managing and operating large scale wind and utility scale battery storage projects, transmission lines and substation assets.
Prior to joining Jupiter Power, David was the Regional Field High Voltage Field Manager for the Texas with NextEra Energy Resources, managed high voltage teams to maintain and operate 26 substations with all associated equipment, 217 miles of the Gentie transmission line with a combined 4524 megawatt of generation in the Texas region. Additionally, David managed several wind power plants and battery storage utility projects in Pennsylvania and Texas.
Arturo has over 10 years of experience in the Renewable Energy Construction Industry building wind, solar, and battery energy storage plants, as well as transmission and distribution lines and high voltage substations in the United States and Canada, being directly involved in the construction, amanagement, and commissioning of more than 1GW of generation and storage capacity.
Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Arturo was a Senior Project Manager at Arevon Energy and has held multiple Construction Project Management roles at Owner/Operators, EPCs, and Electrical Contractors. Arturo has multiple industry certifications, is a traine high voltage switch man, and has a Doctorate of Engineering from George Washington University.
Sean spent the first 4 years of his career as the general manager of a joint venture between a power generation equipment manufacturing company in the Chicago area and a South Korean conglomerate, responsible for all aspects of the joint venture from engineering, operations and sales to board reporting and P&L management.
He then moved into a sales and business development role for 2 years at the same manufacturing company in the Chicago area before joining Jupiter as a project engineer.
Neil brings over 20 years of construction management experience navigating a diverse portfolio of projects. From build out of intricate commercial healthcare and higher education facilities to expansive utility-scale wind and solar initiatives including substation and transmission line buildout throughout the United States. At Jupiter Power, Neil brings a focused commitment to effective project management, safety, quality control, team collaboration, and successful BESS project delivery. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Neil has also operated as licensed general contractor in Tennessee
Mina has worked in the renewable energy industry for over 7 years with experience in both development and operations of wind projects.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Mina was an Electrical Systems Operator at Acciona, supervising a portfolio of over 2 GW of wind power generation facilities in the U.S. and Canada. She also served as Operations and Maintenance Services Specialist.
Previously, Mina worked at Lincoln Clean Energy (now Ørsted) where she held a variety of responsibilities including contributions to development, legal, accounting, and administrative functions.
Mason has over 4 years of experience in the power industry where he has worked on the detailed design of electrical packages for high voltage substations and Wind collection systems at Sargent & Lundy, and moved to Invenergy to manage the design, procurement, construction, and completion of a 300 MW Wind project and a 150 MW Solar project. Including the ownership of equipment specifications, major material procurement, and management of multiple engineering consultants and contractors.
Harry has been developing and implementing advanced SCADA and control systems in the electric power sector for more than two decades. His experience spans multiple decades in working for large investor-owned utilities, wind and solar power producers, and several energy storage projects.
At Jupiter Power Harry’s focus is on building the underlying technology and systems that allow large company systems to be integrated with the bulk power system.
Greg has worked in the renewable industry for over 10 years, where he spent a majority of his time in solar. He began his career at Strata Solar while they were in their infancy, and helped expand the procurement department as they also expanded as a company. Greg spent time at Cypress Creek Renewables and Wanzek Construction, as a Procurement Manager in both wind and solar with a focus on AC collection. Greg has deep industry connections along with a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
Eric has had an unusual career, serving as a Correctional Sergeant for 9 years in the Department of Corrections. His interests inspired him to complete his electrical engineering bachelor's degree. Over 7 years at Kohler within the foundry and power systems divisions having managed several innovate engineering projects, most notably managing the completion of a monumental test cell extension inside their generator division. Eric is now finishing up his master's degree in engineering management at the University of Leeds, which he intends to use to support the clean energy transformation.
Ruben Tarango has been in the energy sector for 14 years, spending 12 years in renewables and two years in the oil and gas industry. While in the renewables sector, Ruben started as an operations and maintenance technician working on several different technologies of wind turbine generators and worked his way up to managing sites. In the oil and gas industry, he installed, maintained, and troubleshot communications equipment, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
Toby Tarin has 20 years of experience in renewables. He worked on wind turbines for the first 17 years and the last 3 years on Battery Energy Storage Systems. This includes 12 years in Operations and Maintenance on Wind farms and 5 years of Commissioning new wind projects. Toby has worked on Jupiter’s BESS units at Crossett, Swoose and Flower Valley before joining Jupiter in May 2023.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Toby worked as a Site manager for Vestas at Sherbino Mesa 1 and 2. He has also previously worked for Enron Wind, GE Wind, Clipper Wind Power and Upwind Solutions ranging from Mech 2, Tech 1, Tech 2, Tech 3, Safety Coordinator, Site Lead, Site Supervisor, Site Manager and Commissioning Supervisor.
Rashad has over 15 years experience in the power generation industry, primarily focused on Settlements in the ERCOT, PJM, MISO market. He previously spent three years in the renewable energy field at Pattern Energy, where hefocused on the day-to-day activities associated with the settlement of Pattern’s ISO market activity. Prior to Pattern, Rashad worked at EDF Trading as the Settlements Manager for wholesale power. During this time, he was responsible for overseeing the P&L sheets as well as settlement and accounting functions related to wholesale electricity activity.
Frank joined the Asset Management team at Jupiter with over 8 years of experience across corporate strategy, process improvement, and project management. Prior to joining Jupiter, he has worked in management consulting at Tata Consultancy Services, corporate strategy at Dell Technologies, and geophysics at Seismic Exchange, Inc. Frank holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BA in Mathematical Economics from Hampden-Sydney College.
David's career in energy dates back to 2012 when he was given the opportunity to compile project and operations data on domestic and international solar and wind assets. His career in energy has spanned multiple sectors, including Oil & Gas, Solar, Wind, and now BESS. Elly has over 12 years of experience in finance and accounting, primarily focused in the renewable energy industry. Prior to Jupiter Power she was the accounting manager for RRC Power & Energy, LLC. She worked for the Taiwan Stock Exchange before moving to the United States. Elly has CPA in Texas and is a member of the AICPA.
Travis joined the Finance team at Jupiter after finishing graduate studies UT Austin. Prior to Jupiter, he worked at Bank of Texas in corporate and energy commercial banking, at Electrify America in EV charging infrastructure as a student consultant, and at 8minute Solar Energy in solar and solar + storage development.
Travis holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin and a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University.
Tompall has worked in the power generation industry for the past 15 years, during which he has served in various financial, commercial and asset management roles. He began his career in the public power sector at the Lower Colorado River Authority before making the transition to private equity, working with both Riverstone Holdings, LLC and Arclight Capital Partners, LLC management companies. During this time, he oversaw financial and asset management responsibilities for asset portfolios in ERCOT, NYISO and ISO-NE. He has worked on several M&A transactions in the power generation industry and has been involved in an IPO, a take-private event, and post-transaction transition services.
Verica has worked in the renewable energy industry over 7 years. She previously worked for Monarch Private Capital where she managed the renewable energy portfolio. During this time, she was responsible for investor reporting, asset valuations, project-level exits, financial modeling, performance metrics, and fund compliance reporting. She also led the documentation process for investor equity funding requests and monitored milestone/projection targets during the construction phase of Monarch’s renewable energy projects. Verica began her career at public accounting firm Williams, Benator & Libby, LLP. There, she was responsible for filing federal and state tax returns on behalf of corporate, partnership and institutional taxpayers.
Verica earned a BBA in finance from the University of Belgrade and a Master of Taxation from Georgia State University.
Nico has over 8 years of experience developing and financing power generation projects in the US and Latin America, with a strong focus on renewable assets. An industrial engineer with a MSF degree, Nico has successfully financed over 1.5GW of utility scale wind and solar in the US utilizing a wide range of capital sources such as tax equity, subordinated debt, and long term private equity partnerships.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Nico was part of the transactions group with RWE Renewables (2018 - 2020), and a key member of the project finance teams with NRG Renew (2016 - 2018) and Invenergy (2012 - 2016).
Fernando has worked for more than 8 years in the energy industry. He has specialized in project structuring, portfolio, and asset management across Latin America and the US. He brings diverse experience, including FPSO financing in Oil & Gas, and was a main contributor to the largest LNG to Power project in Central America, valued at 1.3 billion. Working with various commercial structures (PPAs, ESA, self-supply) and technologies (thermal, CoGen, renewables, storage), Fernando has collaborated with reputable organizations like Blue Marine, SESELEC, Invenergy, and Glidepath. He is driven by a passion for finding creative solutions to industry challenges and finds the most fulfillment from working alongside driven and innovation-minded colleagues and clients who share a mutual passion for environmental sustainability.
Fernando earned a BS in Finance from ITESM Monterrey, and a M.S. in Business Economics from Universidad Anahuac. He is a current MBA graduate candidate at the University of Chicago Booth.
Nelson is a CPA with over 22 years of experience in a broad range of finance areas including compliance, business process, audit and financial reporting. He has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master’s in Real Estate Development. Prior to Jupiter Power he was the CFO for Northridge Capital, LLC, a real estate private equity firm.
Walker Rosenberg has spent more than 10 years in energy finance, spanning various sectors, including oil and gas, thermal generation, and renewables. Prior to joining Jupiter Power as Vice President – Finance and Capital Markets, Walker led the project finance team at Nova Clean Energy. Before Nova, Walker spent several years with Invenergy’s Finance and Capital Markets team in increasing levels of responsibility. Over the course of his career, Walker has also held various roles in energy-related private equity and investment banking. Walker holds a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University and a Masters’ Degree in Energy Finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, where he currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Tulane Energy Institute.
Mesaye has over 12 years of experience in the power and financial industry roles ranging from product control, financial analysis, pricing and structuring. Prior to joining Jupiter, Mesaye was Director of Middle Office operations for Direct Energy’s power business responsible for reviewing and valuing physical power assets, exchange and OTC financial transactions, variable load and full requirement contracts.
Walker joined Jupiter’s Finance team after earning his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. During graduate school, he supported asset management, market analytics, and project finance at Jupiter. Prior to business school, Walker was a Director at FTI Consulting, where he specialized in data analytics and focused on process improvement, automation, and the development of bespoke management tools for corporate clients. Walker holds an MBA from McCombs and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
Robby has worked for 15 years in the IT industry. Prior to Jupiter, Robby built and supported networks for hospitality clients, and worked as a consultant for businesses across Tennessee and Georgia.
Erika is new to the energy field, but brings over 10 years of project management to the company. Erika owned and operated a business with 150 employees for 25+ years, Her work experience includes general management, general contractor, purchaser, and property management. Previous work experience includes HUD and the City of Austin Planning Department.
Chris Brown has worked over 10 years in the IT field. Before joining Jupiter, Chris worked for Internet service providers, data centers, and the Texas Commission on State Emergency Communications.
Jess Green joined Jupiter Power’s HR team in 2023 as an HR & Office Manager, specializing in payroll & benefits while handling all Houston Office's operations. With over seven years of human resources experience in the construction, oil & gas, and manufacturing industries, Jess brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role. Jess holds a master's degree in HR Management from Belhaven University, further enhancing their ability to effectively manage and support the HR functions at Jupiter Power.
Andy has worked on cleaning up the grid for over 10 years as an engineer, developer, project manager, and financial advisor. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Andy worked as an Investment Banking Associate with Credit Suisse’s Power & Renewables group in New York. Previously, he spent 5 years with Invenergy LLC focused on engineering and developing solutions for large industrial energy users as well as managing the development and construction of utility scale wind farms.
Lori completed her A.A.S. in Paralegal Studies through Austin Community College. Prior to working with Jupiter Power, she built and operated a successful award-winning business and volunteered her time at Texas Advocacy Project.
While Lori is new to the energy industry, she has a passion for environmental and corporate law.
Kathleen is an HR leader with an extensive background scaling businesses in high-growth phases. She specializes in implementing and building out systems and processes while managing the ongoing HR needs of the business. She has an MBA with a focus on Human Resources Management from Temple University and a BS in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Matt has substantial experience negotiating agreements with respect to the purchase and sale of output and capacity from, financing of, and acquisition and disposition of energy assets, including renewables, storage, and conventional energy. Matt previously worked for Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Haynes and Boone, LLP.
Prior to graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law, Matt worked for several years in the power industry in a variety of roles with respect to trading, asset management, finance, and analytics.
Alexander has several years of legal and energy experience. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Alexander served as an in-house attorney for Fidelity National Financial, focusing on property and title matters. Before attending law school at the University of Alabama, he worked for a trade association representing the energy industry.
Suzanne has significant experience in all types and phases of construction projects and has represented subcontractors, general contractors, developers, as well as Fortune 50 companies. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Suzanne was Associate General Counsel at an international infrastructure company where she advised on projects and procurements exceeding $1B in value. As an Associate Attorney at Sheppard Richter Hampton LLP, she advised clients on various transactional, litigation, and compliance matters.
Becky joins Jupiter as the Office Manager of our Chicago office location, as well as to assist with HR responsibilities for all Chicago employees.
Prior to Jupiter, Becky worked in Talent Acquisition for a biotechnology company in Boston. She oversaw the hiring process, reporting, and worked closely with human resources. During this time, she gained knowledge about quickly growing companies recruitment processes, HR responsibilities, and employee needs.
Lexie has over a decade of experience in the energy industry. Prior to joining Jupiter Power, Lexie served as Legal Counsel at Equinor, advising its United States businesses on regulatory compliance, environmental, acquisitions and divestitures, corporate governance, exploration and production operations as well as other matters. As a former Associate Attorney at Shannon, Gracey, Ratliff and Miller, LLP, Ms. Worley represented clients on various transactional, regulatory, and litigation matters.
Carla has been in Oil, Gas & Energy for several years as a paralegal supporting in-house legal counsel concerning litigation, entity management, corporate governance, and HR matters. Carla has a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management. Prior to Jupiter Power, she served as a Paralegal and HR liaison for Brigham Minerals, Inc., and a as a Paralegal for Equinor.
